July 4 | Gates open 3 PM, Fireworks at 9 PM

If you're looking for a full day of entertainment, Rancho Mirage delivers. Agua Caliente Casino goes big with live DJs, outdoor games, food and drink specials, and a firework show that lights up the whole valley. You can relax in your tailgate setup or head into the drive-in style viewing lot. It’s all free—just make sure to arrive early to secure your spot.

La Quinta – Carnaval of Lights & Swim Party

July 4 | Swim Party Noon–5 PM, Carnaval of Lights 5–9 PM

La Quinta turns up the energy with a split-day celebration built for families and fun-seekers alike. Start at Fritz Burns Park with a fun swim party—poolside inflatables, splash zones, and a chilled vibe to beat the desert heat. At 5 PM, head over to La Quinta Community Park for the Carnaval of Lights: a bright parade, live entertainment, flavorful cook-off, and community flair. Indio – Empire Polo Grounds

July 4 | 6 PM – 10 PM, Drone Show 9:30 PM

Forget fireworks—Indio's bringing a high-tech drone show to the iconic polo grounds. Over twice the number of drones from last year will light up the night sky in a choreographed aerial display. Before the show, enjoy live music, a full bar, and a food truck lineup that includes tacos, BBQ, churros, and more. Palm Springs – Village Fest, Pool Party & Fireworks

July 3 – Village Fest (Downtown)

 A local favorite. Palm Canyon Drive shuts down for a street fair full of art, food, music, and all-around summer energy.

July 4 – All-American Pool Party

 From 3 PM to 10 PM at the Palm Springs Swim Center. Think giant inflatables, water games, music, and snacks—followed by a 9:15 PM firework show over Sunrise Park.

Baseball + Fireworks

Palm Springs Power hosts a good old-fashioned baseball game at 6 PM at Palm Springs Stadium, with fireworks wrapping things up around 9:15 PM.

July 5 – Dive-In Movie Night

Cap off the weekend watching Captain America: The First Avenger from a pool float. Movie starts at 7 PM, pool opens at 6 PM.
